Salt of the earth
This is the story of 2 cooks. A tale of 2 amateur cooks who discovered that too many cooks in the kitchen does in fact spoil the broth. Once upon a time Angela made a big pot of meaty, hearty spaghetti sauce. Angela didn't like meat in her spaghetti sauce but this pot of spaghetti wasn't for her, it was for JJ who loves meaty spaghetti. That night JJ made pasta to go with the sauce. He put water on the stove to boil and salted it the way Alton Brown says to ... so that the water tastes like sea water. When it started to boil, Angela went to the kitchen and told JJ that the pasta was ready to go in. And before JJ got to the kitchen, Angela heavily salted the water, just the way Alton Brown says to ... so that the water tastes like sea water. JJ cooked the pasta, drained it, and packed it in some plastic containers to take for lunch the next day. JJ took a bite of the pasta the next day and sent Angela a message saying "You know, this sauce is good ... pasta is a little salty though ... guess I oversalted the water." Angela immediately realized what had gone wrong and timidly said, "Actually, I salted the water." And suddenly they realized what had happened ... they had double salted the water. So JJ had to eat the salty pasta. The End.
